Fan Films Database

Welcome to the Fan Films Cast and Crew Database

This site is a project attempting to keep a full running list of anything and everyone that is fan films, be it Star Wars or otherwise.
As the database grows, it will prove to be a valuable source of information for people looking for information about films, either complete or still being produced. Plus personal profiles have been included for those out there that either want to know more about the creators of the projects, or are looking for cast/crew for their own production.

Yep... It's been that long... I totally lost contact with the people who were giving me access to the server. Now I have access back, and now I can make updates... Hopefully, I will be getting some new upgrades done very soon!!

The new Fan Film Hosting Pool. This is a brand new project to help people that don't have much bandwidth to spare get some hosting for their film.

11/10/2004 | New feature!
I just added counters to the film records and personal info records so you can see how often your records are being viewed. Does this make this project a popularity contest? No... Not at all... But it is good to know if you're curious.

Sometime later today, I will be adding a feature that I'm sure the review sites will be happy about. If your film has been reviewed by any of the 3 sites on the right panel, a link will be added to the film record to point directly at that review.

10/22/2004 | Special new update!
In light of the program having been moved to TFN's servers, it seemed like a good idea to further integrate this with the site. In this case, I'm referring to the forums. Any person with a record in the database that includes a TFN username, will automatically have a link up to the User Search page. This means that people will now have one more method of being able to contact each other a bit easier.

10/14/2004 | Even newer features!
Actually, most of the updates made today were to the back-end. Stuff the users won't see. Part of it was to add some code so the program knows where it's running. That way I can maintain the old server as a testing site. I made a huge mistake yesterday by overwriting pages on the TFN server with stuff that would only work on the testing server. Now, that won't happen anymore.

The only obvious thing users will notice is that I replaced all the numbers with cute little digital graphics.

At long last, I'm actually able to make some upgrades to this this. There are many new additions coming soon. For starters, the people search now details exactly what you are looking for. I am now working on adding some new things to the film search page to make it a little easy to find exactly what you want.
